This particular store is independently owned and managed by the Orozco Family. We are a Mexican family with values and a commitment for honesty and good service. Since we opened our doors in 2007 we have strictly followed a very old Mexican tradition of quality ice cream making and integrity in our product. Quality has always been out first priority when designing a new product.

La Michoacana brand is so known in Mexico for its uniqueness in preparation. The essence of this wonderful product is based on the fact that the ice cream must meet the following criteria:

La Michoacana, which literally means "The Girl From Michoacán" started as a family business in the state of Michoacán at the heart of Mexico. It was originally founded by the Andrade family in the small town of Tocumbo, Michoacán. After a great success in his hometown and with a hunger for expansion, Agustín Andrade emigrated to Mexico City where he continued with the success of making high quality ice cream at low prices for the masses. This was his secret to success. He continued opening new stores everywhere in Mexico, selling his stores to his employees and later lending them money at low interest to help the brand grow with the name of La Michoacana. In no time, the brand of La Michoacana was everywhere in Mexico, each independently owned and all with the same name. Now, everywhere you go in Mexico, you will see "Paleterías La Michoacana" at almost every corner, all with the same high quality as each store makes its own product in a day-by-day basis.
